Our practice is led by Dr. Awilda Lugo Mendez, DNP, FNP, APRN, a doctorally prepared Family Nurse Practitioner with experience in primary care, medical aesthetics, and patient-centered care across a variety of clinical settings. Her background allows Renewed Health And Wellness to offer a unique blend of medical, aesthetic, and wellness services with a strong emphasis on quality, safety, and individualized attention. We are committed to helping patients take care of their health while also supporting their confidence and self-care goals.
Dr. Awilda Lugo Mendez, DNP, APRN, is the Medical Director of Renewed Health and Wellness LLC in Prospect, Connecticut. She is a Doctorally prepared Family Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in primary care, medical aesthetics, and holistic patient-centered care.
Dr. Lugo Mendez earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Family Medicine from Quinnipiac University in 2016, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Connecticut in 2012, her Bachelor of Science in Cell Molecular and Physiological Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Central Connecticut State University in 2004 and her Board certification in Medical Aesthetics in 2024 (AAOPM). Dr. Awilda Lugo Mendez brings a strong scientific foundation to both medical and aesthetic care.
