Vitamin Injections
A quick intramuscular shot, in and out in minutes. We offer B12, Lipo-Mino, biotin, glutathione, NAD+ and vitamin D, all given under medical supervision.
What Are Vitamin Injections

A vitamin injection delivers a concentrated dose of a specific nutrient straight into the muscle, where it is absorbed into the bloodstream without passing through your digestive system. That matters because absorption through the gut is inconsistent. Age, medications, stomach surgery, certain conditions and even how much you ate that day all change how much of an oral supplement you actually take in.
Injections are the fast, focused version of what an IV drip does. An IV runs for thirty to sixty minutes and delivers fluid plus a blend of nutrients. An injection takes a couple of minutes and delivers one thing, at a higher concentration, with no fluid. Many of our patients do both: a drip when they want the full reset, and injections in between to stay topped up.
Every injection here is given under medical supervision. Before we start you, we talk through your health history, your medications and what you are actually trying to fix, because the right answer sometimes is bloodwork first rather than a shot.
4 Reasons People Choose Vitamin Injections
In and out in minutes
No IV line, no sitting in a chair for an hour. Most injection visits are done faster than the drive over, which makes it realistic to keep up a regular schedule.
Better absorption than a pill
Going straight into the muscle bypasses the digestive system entirely. For nutrients like B12, where absorption problems are common, that is the whole point.
Targeted to one goal
Energy, metabolism, skin, hair, immune support. We pick the injection for what you are actually after rather than giving everyone the same blend.
Medically supervised, not a vending machine
We review your history and your medications before your first injection, and we revisit the plan as things change.

Our Injection Menu
Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin)
The one most people start with. B12 plays a role in energy metabolism, nerve function and red blood cell production. Absorption through the gut drops with age and with several common medications, which is why the injectable form is so widely used.
Lipo-Mino
A combination injection that blends lipotropic compounds with B vitamins and amino acids. It is most often used alongside a medical weight management plan to support metabolism and energy while you are making other changes.
Biotin
A B vitamin tied to the health of hair, skin and nails. It is often chosen by patients who are already working on hair thinning from another angle.
Glutathione
An antioxidant your body makes on its own. Patients choose it for skin brightness and overall antioxidant support, often in combination with other treatments on our skin menu.
NAD+
A coenzyme involved in cellular energy production and repair. We offer NAD+ as a quick injection here and also as a full IV drip on our IV Vitamin Therapy menu, so you can pick the format that fits your time.
Vitamin D
Low vitamin D is extremely common in Connecticut, where sunlight is in short supply for much of the year. We will usually want to see a level before dosing.

Injection Or IV Drip
This is the question we get most often, and the answer usually comes down to time, hydration and how many things you want to address at once.
Neither one replaces the other, and plenty of our patients use both. Here is how we think about it.

Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I get a vitamin injection?
It depends on the nutrient and on what we are treating. B12 is often given weekly or every other week at first and then spaced out. We set your schedule at your first visit and adjust from there.
Do vitamin injections hurt?
It is a quick intramuscular shot, usually in the upper arm or the hip. Most people describe a brief sting and some mild soreness afterward.
Will a vitamin injection give me energy right away?
Some people notice a difference within a day or two, particularly with B12 when a deficiency is involved. Others notice it gradually. We will not promise you a jolt, because that is not how nutrition works.
Do I need bloodwork first?
Sometimes. For vitamin D we will usually want a level before dosing. For others it depends on your history. We will tell you if we think testing should come first.
Can I get more than one injection in the same visit?
Often yes. We will review what you are asking for and let you know whether combining them makes sense.
Is NAD+ better as an injection or an IV?
Both are useful. The injection is fast and easy to repeat. The IV delivers a larger dose over a longer window. We will talk through your goals and your schedule and help you pick.
Are vitamin injections safe?
They are given here under medical supervision after we review your history and medications. As with anything, there are people for whom a specific injection is not appropriate, and we will tell you if that is you.
