Exosome Therapy
Exosomes are messenger particles that tell your own cells to repair. We use plant based exosomes to support thinning hair, alopecia and facial rejuvenation, with no blood draw required.
What Is Exosome Therapy

Exosomes are tiny vesicles that cells release to communicate with one another. They carry growth factors, proteins and genetic signaling material, and their job in the body is to tell neighboring cells what to do: repair this, build collagen here, calm this inflammation down. Exosome therapy delivers a concentrated dose of those signals directly into the tissue we are treating.
The exosomes we use are plant derived rather than drawn from your blood. That matters for two reasons. There is no blood draw and no waiting while a sample spins in a centrifuge, so the visit is shorter and easier. And the concentration is consistent from one session to the next, which is not always true of treatments that depend on your own blood on a given day.
We most often pair exosomes with microneedling, because the micro-channels give the exosomes a direct path into the skin or scalp rather than leaving them sitting on the surface. On the scalp we use exosome therapy for thinning hair and alopecia. On the face we use it to support texture, tone and overall skin quality.
4 Reasons People Choose Exosome Therapy
No blood draw needed
PRP and PRF both start with drawing your blood. Exosome therapy does not. If needles in the arm are a problem for you, or you simply want a shorter visit, this is the regenerative option that skips that step.
Support for thinning hair and alopecia
We use exosomes on the scalp to support circulation and the environment around the follicle. It is often part of a plan alongside PRP or PRF rather than a replacement for them.
A consistent, concentrated dose
Because these exosomes are not harvested from you, the potency does not swing with your hydration, your sleep or your platelet count on the day of treatment.
Works with treatments you may already be doing
Exosomes layer naturally onto microneedling and RF microneedling, and fit into a facial rejuvenation plan that may also include PRP or PRF.

What Happens During Your Treatment
We start with an evaluation
For hair we look at the pattern and the density of the thinning and talk through your history. For skin we look at texture, tone and what has and has not worked for you before.
We cleanse and numb the area
Topical numbing goes on the scalp or the face and is given time to work before we begin.
We create micro-channels
Microneedling opens controlled pathways into the skin or scalp so the exosomes reach the layer where they can actually signal, instead of sitting on top.
We apply the exosomes
The exosome solution is worked into the treated area immediately after, while the channels are still open.
We go over aftercare
Usually that means no washing the area for a set number of hours, no harsh products for a few days and no heavy sweating. We write it down for you.
We plan the series
Regenerative treatments work on a series, not a single visit. We set the number of sessions and the spacing together, and we reassess as we go.

Exosomes Compared To PRP And PRF
People ask us all the time which of the three regenerative options is best. The honest answer is that they work differently and they are often better together than apart.
At your consultation we look at what you are treating, how much time you want to spend in the chair and what your budget looks like across a full series, then we recommend a plan. Here is the short version of how they compare.

Exosome Therapy Across Our Treatments
Frequently Asked Questions
What are exosomes?
Exosomes are very small vesicles that cells use to send signals to other cells. They carry growth factors and proteins that influence repair, collagen production and inflammation.
Where do the exosomes you use come from?
We use plant derived exosomes. They are not harvested from your blood and they are not taken from another person, so there is no blood draw at your appointment.
Does exosome therapy regrow hair?
Exosome therapy supports the scalp environment and the follicles that are still active. It is not a guarantee of regrowth, and results depend heavily on the type and stage of hair loss. We will tell you at your consultation whether we think you are a good candidate.
How many sessions will I need?
Regenerative treatments work on a series. The number depends on what we are treating and how you respond. We set that plan together and reassess as we go rather than committing you upfront to a package.
Is there downtime?
Because exosomes are usually delivered with microneedling, expect the microneedling recovery: redness and a warm, tight feeling for roughly one to three days.
Can exosomes be combined with PRP or PRF?
Yes. Many of our plans use PRP or PRF as the foundation with exosomes layered in. We map out the order and the spacing at your consultation.
Is exosome therapy FDA approved?
Exosome products are not FDA approved for the treatment of any condition. We will explain exactly what the evidence does and does not support before you decide, and we will never oversell what a treatment can do.
